I feel that your theses statement is a bit confusing, maybe you should stick to one thing.

Paper could include, from the thesis:
1. Examples of traumatic situations that happen to children and effect them later as adults
2. The science behind the fact that changes occur in the brain due to past memories, situations, interactions etc. What actually happens in the brain (nerves, templates etc.) that causes these changes?
3. Ways people can prevent these past memories etc. from ruining their lives today due to depression, bi-polar, or other mental diorders. In other words, how does a persons brain have control over their emotions, and how can someone use this information to stay happy in life? “The power of the brain” or “You shoose how to respond in EVERY situation”

The writer should begin finding examples of psychological changes that occur and under which circumstances they happen. As it says in the thesis explain how a reaction to memories of the past, their family, and neuroloical changes can effect a person. The writer should then explain how the brain has complete control over his or her emotions, reactions, memory and personality, but also explain situations this has occured. The final thing the writer should look into exploring is the ways to prevent negative reactions and things they have already tried in which to prevent these outbreaks.
